We've been doing Dave Ramsey's plan since last May and let me tell you it is 100% worth it! Even if it is hard for a while. Keep up the good work!

I think I would use the points too before closing out that card! We have always used cash for most of our purchases, but we haven't started using the envelope system yet. I plan to put it in place for March. It's definitely going to take some practice to get used to actually following the budget! I will definitely be following your DR journey - I read your last update twice! LOL It is really helpful to talk with others who are doing this program!

Good for you!!! Oh that is so wonderful what you have done. I sitll haven't gotten the courage to cut up our credit card... mostly because we just have one and because we have sooooooooooo many points on it that we could go on a trip for like 5 days and not pay for it so I don't want to get rid of the card until we use the points!!!

Are you doing the envelope system? I'd love to hear your take on it! I'll have another post on how we are doing with the Dave Ramsey plan on March 1st, so check it out if you are interested! :)
